Change to the Society Constitution

The committee is proposing a new constitution at our AGM in May.

We are sending a copy of the proposed constitution document to all Society members. The current constitution can be downloaded from here



Change to the 2014 / 2015 Programme

We have had to make changes to our 2014 / 2015 programme:

  • Friday 9th January 2015 - Crime and Punishment in 18C Cheshire by Robert Keep.
  • Friday 6th March 2015 - The Landscape of Cheshire by Fred Owen.

Northwich and District Heritage Society was established in 1985 as a registered charity and has the following general aims:
  • To promote greater awareness of the historical, archaeological, architectural and environmental heritage of Northwich and District for the benefit of residents and visitors.
  • To encourage the conservation of all property of historical, archaeological, architectural and environmental value in the area and to assist in providing access to it where possible.
  • To promote and undertake research connected with the heritage of the area.
  • To co-operate, where possible, with any other individual or body having similar aims.
